Excited About Kinaba's New Managed Web Hosting Service

Well.....

We all say that we are going to write regularly in our blogs don't we? And then many of us keep forgetting or keep putting it off because we run around with our heads cut off, the perpetual rat race, etc. etc. - throw in any other applicable cliche. Yes, I am one of them who is appalled to see that I haven't actually written in this blog.

Today was as good a time as any because after a lot of hard work, we, Kinaba LLC, have officially launched Kinaba Host, our managed website and eCommerce hosting solution. This is a new service that primarily focuses on small businesses and non-profit organizations who need a little bit more from a web hosting provider than space, bandwidth, and a online knowledge base.

We think many companies need a service somewhere in between an actual IT person / webmaster and a simple web hosting account. So our service was designed to be that in between solution. Our Managed Hosting Solution should be a good complement to our current offerings in the area of design, marketing, communication, etc.

I did notice, however, that when I Googled "managed web hosting", there seems to be quite the variety in what companies mean by "managed". That means we probably have some work to do to educate the public on what we mean by managed web hosting, which seems to be quite a bit more than most of what I saw on my brief trip to the search engine.

The good news is that I now have something that should be a good reminder to come back and blog again soon.
